Question about that cheap glass cutter from Harbor Freight

Bought one of those $4 cutters for a quick bathroom job in my own house... figured it would be fine. The wheel was dull right out of the package and I ruined a 3'x4' piece of 1/4" clear before I gave up and got a proper one. Anyone have a go-to brand for basic cutters that actually last?

Wait you tried to cut a 3x4 foot sheet with that thing? No wonder it failed.

Yeah that whole situation got me thinking about tool limits... my neighbor once tried to trim a huge oak branch with a basic handsaw. Took him all weekend and he nearly fell off the ladder twice. Sometimes you just don't realize the scale of the job until you're in way too deep.
