A homeowner in Dayton watched me cut a big piece of tempered glass and said 'you make that look like breathing'
It happened last fall while I was installing a new shower door, and that one quiet comment after a tricky cut made me feel like a real craftsman for a second, you know?

Tempered glass can't actually be cut on site once it's tempered. That homeowner was probably watching you handle the pre-cut piece for install. Still, making a tough job look easy is its own kind of skill.

Honestly, you ever see someone so sure of themselves they just double down? My buddy installs shower doors and had this client who swore he watched them cut the tempered glass right in his driveway. My friend kept saying, "Sir, that's not possible, it would just explode," but the guy wouldn't hear it. He even tried to show him the factory label on the protective film. The homeowner just nodded like he was being humored and said, "Sure, sure, you guys have your trade secrets." Some people just have their story and that's that.
