Yeah, a minor asked for a smoking piece and I declined, but it's been bugging me all week.

Honestly? That "no" might be the only real adult boundary that kid has faced about smoking all week. You stuck to the rules when it mattered, and that weird guilty feeling is proof you're not just following the book, you actually give a damn about the outcome. In my view, that brief awkward moment for you could be the thing that makes them pause and think twice next time.

That guilt probably means you have a decent conscience. It's tough saying no, but you definitely did the right thing. Sometimes the right choice just feels heavy for a while.
