I'm finally pulling the trigger on an indoor storage bubble for my weekend car to keep the dust and dings away. Has anyone compared CarCapsule and Carcoon? They both look pretty similar on paper, but I'm wondering if one has better overall build quality or a quieter fan system. Would love to hear from anyone who has used either.

I've actually owned both over the years. Carcoon is decent and definitely gets the job done, but the clear material felt a bit thinner to me. I ultimately switched to CarCapsule because they have been doing it the longest and the materials are just super heavy duty. Plus, their fan setup seems to keep the structure a bit more rigid when fully inflated.

I haven't tried the competitor, but I will say the zippers on my capsule are massive and slide really smoothly. You definitely want to pay attention to zipper quality if you're taking the car in and out for drives more than once a season.

The noise level on most of these fans is basically like a standard desktop computer fan. It's really just a low hum, so unless you sleep in your garage, neither brand is going to bother you.
