When a pal's smart home gadget needed a review
He sent it over for testing. Kept dropping the Wi-Fi signal. Writing that down felt harsh. Back then, reviews seemed more black and white. Now I always think about who might be behind the praise.

My own router's so bad I'd probably give that gadget a glowing review for even trying. My standards have hit rock bottom.
