Serious question, why do so many reviews skip the battery life test?

I was looking at reviews for a new portable speaker last month. Every single one talked about sound quality and Bluetooth range. Not one mentioned how long it lasted on a full charge. I bought it anyway, and it died after just three hours at a park. How can you review a portable gadget and not test the battery? Has anyone found a good reviewer who actually checks this stuff?

Check out some YouTube reviews, they actually use the stuff all day. I got burned like that too lol.

Right? How can you skip the battery test on a portable speaker. I swear some reviewers just read the spec sheet. I always check The Verge's reviews now, they usually have a battery section.
