My old phone's battery health hit 78% after exactly 730 days

Honestly, I was just checking it out of curiosity on my old phone before I sold it. The battery health reading was at 78%, and I looked at the purchase date. It was exactly two years to the day, which is 730 days. That number really stuck with me because it made the whole 'batteries degrade' thing feel real and predictable, not just random. It made me rethink how I charge my new gadget, trying to keep it between 20% and 80% most of the time. Has anyone else tracked their battery health over a long period and seen a similar pattern?

Check my battery health way too often now, thanks for the anxiety.

I get what you mean about the battery health feeling predictable, but my experience has been totally different. My last phone was at 89% after two years and I charged it overnight every single day. I've seen friends with the same model have batteries die way faster or last longer. It feels more like luck and how hot the phone gets than any set rule to me.
