Just realized I've mixed over 500 custom stain matches

I was cleaning out my sample boards and counted them all. It hit me how much of this job is just eyeballing color and remembering formulas. How do you guys keep track of your recipes so you can repeat them later?

Actually keep a physical log book for that exact reason. My memory is terrible for formulas but I can always flip back to the book. What system do you use when the client calls back a year later for more?

Feel you on that, @the_dylan, it's rough when a client expects you to remember a color from two years ago.
