Hit 200 refinishing jobs last month and it stirs up something weird

I always thought the number of pieces you've done just meant more money in the bank, but hitting that 200th table got me questioning if I'm just repeating myself now. Does a bigger number actually make you a better finisher or just a busier one?

Oh goodness, that number really does something to you, doesn't it? I remember when I hit 100 bookcases I had refinished and I almost stopped counting after that because it felt too much like a factory instead of a craft. Quantity has a way of blurring the lines between art and production, that's for sure.
