My cousin needed a place to stay during my busiest work week
He showed up without warning right when I had three client drafts due. I had to set up a temporary office in my bedroom to keep things quiet. It threw off my whole routine but we made a schedule for shared spaces. Now I always confirm visitor dates way ahead of time.
