Talked to a guy at the library book sale in Springfield last weekend

He said he gets all his furniture from the 'free' section on Craigslist and just cleans it up. Has anyone else scored big that way?

Scored a solid oak desk that way once... just had to glue one leg back on. The trick is checking right after the first of the month when people are moving. You see some wild stuff.

Oh man, that's the best strategy! I once found a perfectly good bookshelf just sitting by the dumpster.
