PSA: A dab of anti-seize on the threads of your pouring shank really does help
I mean, I fought with a stuck one for like 45 minutes last week before our old timer told me to try it, and it came apart clean the next day. Anyone else got a simple trick for keeping tools from seizing up in the heat?

Honestly, I read somewhere that a tiny bit of high-temp grease works the same way. It's supposed to keep things from locking up when they get hot. Might be worth a try too.

Spend 45 minutes fighting with it, then the old guy says the magic words. Classic. Next time I'm just greasing everything before I even look at it funny.
