I used to hate slow cools, but now I see the point

I mean, last week I had a cast that needed extra time to cool down fully. Idk, it hit me that skipping that wait risks cracks and wasted metal. Maybe it's just me, but do you all plan for extra cooling time too?

Oh man, I learned this the hard way a while back. I ruined two good pieces because I was impatient and pulled them early. Now I basically add an extra hour to whatever I think the cool time should be. My wallet couldn't take another lesson like that.
