Update: That free box treadmill needed one $6 fix
Snagged a ProForm from a curb pile in Portland last Tuesday, smelled like cat pee, but the belt was slipping bad. Tried tightening it twice, useless, then noticed the drive belt was cracked in two spots. Swapped in a $6 universal belt from the hardware store and it runs smooth now, anyone else save a dumpster find with a cheap part instead of trashing it?
