Free microfiche reader turned out to be a dust bomb
Saw one of those big tabletop microfiche readers on the curb last Tuesday with a FREE sign. Dragged it inside and plugged it up, and the fan kicked up 3 years of old library dust. My whole dining room looked like a smoky bar for 20 minutes. After I wiped it down, the bulb flickered twice and just died. Anyone know if those old bulbs are worth hunting for at a salvage shop in Portland?
