Warning: I used to fill orders with imported blooms without a second thought

Back in the day, we just got what the customer wanted, no questions asked. Now I think about all the fuel used to fly those flowers in. It feels wrong to ignore that. So I've started having hard talks with clients about going local. It's tough, but it sits better with my conscience.

Lol, my past self would've ordered those flowers, now I'm stress-googling local florists like a weirdo.

Double down on that stress google, seriously! Local shops usually let you pick up same day and you can actually see what you're getting before you pay. Plus if something goes wrong you can just walk back in and they'll fix it, way less headache than dealing with customer service bots.

But isn't checking out local spots actually the smarter move? @xena_murphy, think about it, local florists often have way fresher flowers and you can actually talk to someone if there's a problem. Online orders can be a gamble with delivery times and weird quality issues. Stress-googling just means you're putting in real effort to get things done right. Supporting small businesses is a good habit that helps your community too. So your current method might be the better call overall, no weirdness about it.
