My foam block bouquets were wilting by day 3 until I switched to this

I used those green foam blocks for about 6 months and kept wondering why my hydrangeas and tulips drooped so fast. Then I swapped to a chicken wire cage inside the vase for a local wedding order last month and everything stayed fresh through the whole reception. Has anyone else noticed a big difference switching away from wet foam for softer stems?

Oh you are totally right about the softer stems, hydrangeas are the worst in foam. I switched to chicken wire a few years ago and never looked back, it lets the stems drink way more naturally.

Ugh yes, hydrangeas are so dramatic in foam! Glad you found something that works, I still battle with those things every time.
