I thought those fancy flower subscription boxes were just a fad, but after trying one for my shop in Denver, I'm sold.
A sales rep kept bugging me about it for months. I finally caved and set up a 'Surprise Bouquet' monthly plan last quarter. Figured it was just extra work for maybe two customers. We've signed up 17 people in three months. The recurring revenue is solid, and it forces me to get creative with what's seasonal each week. What local flowers are you all using to make these boxes feel special without blowing the budget?

Wait, she just uses weeds from her fence line? That's actually genius.

My friend runs a little farm stand up in Fort Collins and she got roped into a similar subscription thing. She started using these wild sunflowers that grow like crazy along the fence lines, costs her almost nothing. People go nuts for them because they look so different from the grocery store bunches. She mixes them with some cheap seeded eucalyptus and it always looks like she spent a fortune.
