I miss the days when regulars would chat while picking out blooms

When I first opened my shop, people treated it like a community center. Neighbors would stop by to share gardening tips or just catch up over coffee. I had one customer, old Mr. Harris, who came every week to buy roses for his wife. We'd talk about the weather and his tomato plants. Now, most folks just tap on their phones to order a bouquet. It's quicker, but the personal touch is gone. I still smile when someone walks in just to talk flowers.

My friend ran a bookstore where people would linger for hours just talking stories. She always says that quiet vibe from customers scrolling on phones never feels the same.

Feel called out reading this on my phone. Tried to browse a shop without scrolling last week. Lasted maybe four minutes.
