I finally told a bride her peony vision for a December wedding in Buffalo was a bad idea

Last week, I explained the import costs and quality issues, but my coworker said we should just order them and charge the premium. Who's right here?

Showing pictures of wilted flowers worked for me once. I picked ones with frost on the petals, kind of fragile and quiet. It made the whole mood more real, not just sad for the sake of it. She got the feeling I was trying to share without me having to spell it all out. Sometimes a picture really can say the things words can't.
