A bride in Austin said my bouquets looked 'too perfect' last month

She wanted more wild, loose stems and less symmetry, which honestly threw me off at first. I started leaving more natural bends in the greenery and stopped trimming every single stem to the same exact length. Do you ever get pushback on a style you thought was your strong point?

My buddy who does landscaping had a client ask for a "messy" garden border last year. He was so confused until he saw what they meant, just like @jakem20 said. Sometimes the best look is the one that doesn't look planned at all.

That feedback would have bugged me before, but it actually makes sense now.
