Warning: The new hotel lobby in Denver has the worst floor transition I've ever seen
Stayed at that big place on 16th Street last weekend and the step from the marble entry to the wood plank area is a full inch and a half. My wife almost tripped on it, and I couldn't stop staring at the terrible job. It's not even a clean lip, it's a jagged mess where they clearly didn't plan the subfloor heights. For a place that just opened, it's a huge red flag on their installer's work. Has anyone else run into a public job that was just shockingly bad?

Yeah, I saw a post about that same spot on a local contractor's page. They were pointing out how the tile crew and the flooring crew must have worked from different plans, because the height difference is way outside of normal tolerance. It's like they just butted the materials together and hoped for the best.

How many times have you seen that kind of sloppy work?
