Update: Stuck to my guns on a sketchy subfloor fix
Had a job where the builder wanted me to patch rotted wood with filler instead of replacing it. I said no and did the full repair, which cost more time but saved the homeowner big trouble down the line. When have you had to push back on a cheap fix to keep your work honest?

Sometimes you just have to call out the bad ideas right away. Like this one guy who wanted to use super glue on a cracked beam instead of replacing it. Sticking to the right way saves everyone headaches later.
