Old timer told me to never glue LVP in a bathroom... I didn't listen
So I had this job in a small powder room in Austin last month. Customer wanted LVP in there and said their buddy said to glue it down so it doesn't move near the toilet. I know better but figured hey what's the harm. 3 days later the floor started bubbling up near the vent. Moisture trapped under the glue and warped like 4 planks. Had to rip it all out and start over. Cost me an extra $200 in materials and a whole Saturday. Has anyone else had a hack advice from a customer that backfired bad?

Ha, yeah I used to be one of those guys who thought glue was always better but that powder room bubble story finally knocked some sense into me. Live and learn.

Three coats of glue and I still had to peel up a corner last week cause it wouldn't lay flat. I'm starting to think there's no perfect way, just different kinds of headaches.
