Showerthought: I just fixed a 2005 iPod with a new battery and it's wild how simple the insides were compared to my phone

Yeah, the simple insides thing is so true. I did that with an old iPod Nano once and it was basically just the battery, drive, and main board. It's kind of nice when things are just made to be fixed, you know?

But what about when they're too simple? I tried fixing a newer gadget and it was just a glued together brick lol. Felt more like breaking it than fixing it.
