Can we talk about those cheap paint rollers at the dollar store?

I grabbed a 3 pack of rollers from the dollar store last week cause I was in a hurry. First coat on my bathroom ceiling and lint was everywhere, stuck in the paint like little fuzzy hairs. Had to sand it all down and start over with a $10 roller from the hardware store. Has anyone else dealt with cheap rollers ruining a whole paint job?

Ended up with a bathroom wall that looked like it had a weird furry texture. Had to scrape and repaint the whole thing. Now I just stick to the mid-range rollers at the hardware store, they're like $8 and don't leave my walls looking like a shedding dog. Honestly, saving two dollars cost me like three extra hours of work.

The worst part is nobody mentions how those cheap rollers actually shed microplastics into your paint too. I tested one under running water once and it looked like a glitter bomb went off.
