The 2x4 trick that fixed my leaning wall in 10 minutes
My shed wall was leaning 3 inches out of plumb. I drove a 2x4 as a diagonal brace from the top plate to a stake in the ground, then used a come-along to pull it straight. Took less time than arguing with my level.

So you just hope the ground doesn't shift again?

not really hope, more like I just accept that the ground is gonna do what it wants. you can't predict everything no matter how prepared you think you are. I've had stuff settle, shift, crack, and I just patch it and move on. if you spend too much time worrying about what might happen next you'll drive yourself crazy. deal with it when it comes, that's the only way to stay sane.
