Spent $40 on a fancy level and my shed wall is still crooked

Bought one of those digital levels with the little screen thinking it would magically fix my framing, but turns out my floor is just that uneven lol. Anybody got a trick for shimming under a bottom plate without it sliding out?

Ha, just spent 45 minutes on the same thing yesterday. Quick tip: put a dab of construction adhesive on the shim before you tap it in, that stuff holds way better than friction.

Construction adhesive on a shim, that's genius. Tried that trick last time I hung a door and it held solid even after the neighbor kid slammed it like a pro wrestler.
