My best shed day ever was after a TOTAL disaster last Thursday

I spent 4 hours last Thursday fighting a wall that was leaning 3 inches out of plumb. Tried shims, tried screws, nothing worked until my neighbor stopped by and showed me to just loosen the top plate and push from the bottom. Took 10 minutes after that. Has anyone else had a simple fix like that after a long frustrating day?

Did you just push it back while the rain was pouring down like I did?

...and that's when I realized I spent 4 hours fighting a wall that basically just needed a gentle shove and a pep talk. Classic. I swear half this job is just learning the hard way that the most obvious fix is the one you skip for the first three hours. Last week I tried to muscle a sagging door back into alignment with a crowbar until my wife walked by, pushed it shut, and said "did you check the hinge screws?" Nope. They were loose. Took 10 seconds. But hey, at least we both got a good workout in before the actual fix.
