Vent: My neighbor painted his front door neon green and now I can't unsee it every morning

He told me it was for "good vibes" but I caught him grimacing at it last Tuesday when he thought nobody was looking, has anyone else dealt with a neighbor's color choice that just doesn't work with the rest of the block?

That "good vibes" story is hilarious because I had a neighbor who did the same thing with a bright purple door and then admitted weeks later she regretted it but felt locked in. What worked for us was just having an honest chat over the fence, I told her my blue door clashed and we ended up laughing about it together. Once she knew someone else had buyer's remorse too it took the pressure off and she painted it a nice navy a month later, no drama.
