Everybody says to plant boxwoods for cheap curb appeal but my row of them died within 6 months because of that boxwood blight I kept hearing about.

I planted 12 boxwoods along my walkway last spring in Atlanta and by August half were brown and crispy no matter what I did, so now I'm ripping them out and going with native azaleas instead, has anyone else had boxwoods just randomly fail on them like that?

Swapped mine for yaupon hollies and never looked back.

@ellis.felix made the smart move. I just swapped mine for a sad little rosemary that's already plotting its revenge on me. What's the secret to keeping yaupons alive without making them hate you?
