Just wasted 45 minutes trying to level my washing machine before I realized the floor itself is slanted
I've been fighting with this stupid machine for two years. Kept adjusting the feet, putting shims under it, it still walked across the basement floor during spin cycle. Finally after my third attempt this morning I grabbed a level and checked the concrete floor. It's off by nearly an inch over 3 feet. Got the machine balanced with some heavy rubber pads and a piece of plywood. Has anyone else had a problem like this where the fix was the floor and not the appliance?

Same issue with my old washing machine. Basement floor slopes toward the floor drain. Had to build a little platform out of treated lumber to get it level. Now it doesn't shake the whole house during spin cycle.

Drove me nuts for months with my dryer until I realized the same thing. The previous owners had tiled the whole laundry room and just leveled the tile, not the floor under it so the machine sat crooked anyway. Ended up cutting a wedge out of a 2x4 and sliding it under one side.
