Just realized my home inspection missed a huge plumbing issue

Found out two weeks after closing in Austin that the main sewer line is cracked and leaking under the slab because the inspector never ran a camera down it. Cost me $4,500 to fix it out of pocket - has anyone else had an inspector skip something obvious like that?

My buddy had the same thing happen in San Antonio. Paid a plumber $600 to run a camera after closing and found a collapsed line under the driveway. Seller never disclosed it and the inspector missed it completely.

A friend of mine in Dallas found out the hard way too. Inspector never looked at the main line, and three months later they had a backup that ruined their whole laundry room floor.
