Hot take: I thought getting a sewer scope was just a scam to get more money.
Our realtor in Austin kept pushing for it, saying it was $250 well spent. I rolled my eyes but agreed. The video showed a massive root intrusion 20 feet from the house that would've cost us $5k to fix. We made the seller handle it before closing. Anyone else have a home inspection add-on that saved their butt?

Check for polybutylene pipes too.

Total waste of cash in my book. My realtor pushed for a radon test, cost me $150. Levels were fine, obviously. Just another scare tactic to make you pay for extra services.
