Reusing mayo jars for my kimchi cuts down on waste big time.
I see people toss perfect glass jars after one use. Fermenting in them instead of buying new containers saves money and reduces trash. Isn't that the whole spirit of DIY food?

My grandma's basement fridge had like eight old pickle jars full of different beans. Pretty sure that's what attracted the pantry moths last summer, lmao.

Keep rinsing them out hot before you store them. A clean jar won't attract bugs.
