My kombucha scoby sank for the first time in 8 months and I panicked
It happened after I moved the jar to a cooler spot in the kitchen (near the basement door) and the temp dropped below 70F. Has anyone else had a scoby sink and still had the batch turn out okay?

My aunt's scoby sank last winter and the tea still tasted fine.

My scoby sank once too, @miller.eva, and I still drank the whole batch, so maybe I'm the real problem here.
