Hit 100 jars of sauerkraut this week and it blew my mind

I've been fermenting for about 18 months now and I finally cracked 100 jars of sauerkraut made in my own kitchen. That's like 50 pounds of cabbage at least. I keep a notebook and counted back from my first batch in March 2023. Has anyone else tracked their totals and gotten surprised by how much you actually make?

Nah wait, 100 jars of 50 pounds total means each jar only holds half a pound.

Flip the math around for a sec @ruby494. You're forgetting the jars themselves have weight. Those big glass jars probably weigh a pound each empty, so if 50 pounds is total including the jars, you've got 50 pounds minus 100 pounds of glass which doesn't work. Unless they're using those thin plastic jars that barely weigh anything, but then how do you get a hundred of them for 50 bucks? Nobody's factoring in the container tare weight here, it's messing up the whole calculation.
