My breakthrough with setting posts in wet soil

Man, wet soil has been the worst for me, always washing out and making posts loose. I used to just add more concrete, but that never worked long term. Then I saw this video where they used a sleeve and gravel at the bottom. Tried it on a job after a rainstorm, and it held up perfect. I was so relieved, you have no idea. It's a small thing, but it means I don't have to stress about spring jobs anymore. Just wanted to share because it made a huge difference for me.

On my street, several fences failed after heavy rains because posts were set wrong. Your gravel and sleeve method is exactly the kind of simple fix that gets overlooked for fancier solutions. I see this all the time, where the basic approach ends up being the best.
