Had an older fella stop me on a job in Des Moines back in 2018
He told me he'd been putting up fences since 1965 and showed me how to tie a wire knot that still hasn't budged on me once since then, has anyone else picked up a trick from a random stranger on site?

Wasn't 2018 though since that fella would've been putting up fences for 53 years.

Nah, I gotta disagree with that timeline. Old man Jenkins started fencing in '65 when he bought that first patch of land, so 2018 would've been 53 years on the dot if my math is right. Might be mixing up his start year with when he got his first horse.
