Changed my mind about mixing concrete by hand after last month's job

For 20 years I always mixed my concrete in a wheelbarrow with a hoe, thought power mixers were just a waste of money. Last month I had to set 12 posts in a rocky patch near Springfield, and after 3 hours my back was done. A buddy let me borrow his gas-powered mixer for the next day, and I got all 6 remaining posts set in under 2 hours. Has anyone else had that moment where you realized you were making things harder than they had to be?
