That day I sewed a sleeve onto the neck hole by accident

I was trying to finish a dress for a friend's wedding last Saturday and got totally zoned out listening to a podcast... after an hour of careful stitching I realized I had attached the sleeve right where the collar should go. How do you guys stay focused when you're working on a tricky piece of clothing?

I once attached a zipper to the inside of a pocket. Took me three days to notice.

Tried sewing a button on my jeans pocket once and accidentally sewed the pocket shut too.
