I was at the art museum in Denver and saw something that made me rethink 'wearable art'
They had a whole section on avant-garde fashion, and honestly, most of it looked like a mess of hot glue and scrap fabric. One piece was literally a wire frame with plastic bags stapled to it, labeled as a 'statement on consumerism'. I get the idea, but it felt lazy and not actually designed to be worn by a human body. It seems like a lot of high fashion forgets that clothes should still be about the person in them. Has anyone else seen a piece that crossed the line from creative to just... not clothing?

That "statement on consumerism" piece sounds like it did its job perfectly.

Made people stop and think, which is the whole point.
