I had to choose between a fitted bodice or a flowy one for this dress design...
I picked the fitted version with boning, and it made the whole silhouette so much sharper. Has anyone else tried working with boning recently and have tips for keeping it comfortable?

Boning can really dig in after a few hours, can't it. I once lined the channels with a thin layer of fleece to stop the poking. It made a huge difference for comfort.

Fleece lining sounds like a genius hack. My dumb ass just suffered through it like some kind of medieval torture test. Guess I'm out here trying to win a prize for most stubborn costume wearer.
