Finally sold my first piece from a sketch I made three years ago at a cafe in Austin.
It was a simple linen jumpsuit with these huge patch pockets I drew on a napkin, and seeing someone actually wear it out in the world this weekend felt unreal, so has anyone else had a super old idea finally come to life?

Oh man, that's awesome... it's like our brains are just slow-cookers for ideas. @faitha40's buddy with the math class cartoon proves it, some stuff just needs to sit in a drawer and marinate. Congrats on the jumpsuit finally getting its day in the sun.

My buddy had this dumb cartoon character he drew in high school math class, and he just put it on a t-shirt last month. It's wild how something that felt like a throwaway joke for years can suddenly feel real when you finally make it. He sold a few at a local market and said it was the strangest, coolest feeling.
