That $150 hoof stand that lasted 2 months
Bought a cheap hoof stand off Amazon back in March. Aluminum tube legs, plastic top. Looked fine in the pictures. Third week the plastic top cracked on me. By week 8 one leg bent out of shape. Tried to weld it myself but the metal was too thin. Went back to my old wooden block I made in 2019. Still standing strong. Anyone else get burned on a cheap farrier tool lately?

That aluminum stuff is junk for anything that's gonna take real weight. I've got a set of ratchet straps that came with a Harbor Freight tie down kit, the plastic clips snapped on the second use. Just went back to using old rope.

Yeah I just swapped mine out for a good set from the farm store, night and day difference.
