Rant: My anvil stand gave way during a tough shoeing job in Cheyenne yesterday.
The whole thing just tipped over because the lag bolts pulled out of the old timber. I had to finish the horse on the ground with a hand rasp, but honestly, who thinks a 300 pound anvil on a wobbly base is a good idea anyway?

Used to think stands were fine" is a whole mood, quinn_carr. I had a cheap one that wobbled so bad my laptop looked like it was seasick. Upgraded to a fancy arm mount and spent an hour just trying to tighten one bolt. Now my monitor is stuck at a slight tilt, forever judging my life choices. I've come full circle to just piling books under it.
