I finally got my old rounding hammer back from a buddy after 15 years

Used it on a tricky quarter crack for a draft horse in Salem last Tuesday, and the feel in my hand was like muscle memory. Anyone else have a tool that just clicks back into place like that?

My old farrier's rasp from my apprenticeship days sat in a toolbox for almost a decade. Pulled it out last month to work on my own gelding's feet and my hands just knew the exact angle and pressure. It's wild how the memory lives right in your palms.
