My cousin had a horse kick him in the chest when I was a kid, and I always thought he must have done something wrong to cause it. But after seeing this post, I gotta admit I was wrong. Horses get spooked by their own shadow sometimes, it's not always the person's fault. A mare near our property got scared by a plastic bag blowing across the field and sent my neighbor to the ER with a broken rib last spring. How long before you can use that arm again?

Gotta respect the horses but watch their back feet. That kick sounds brutal. Hope your arm heals up quick.
