Shoutout to my grandpa for telling me to put a sock over my shop vac filter 20 years ago
It finally clicked last week when my buddy was complaining about buying those expensive pleated filters every few months, and now I'm wondering what other old school tips I've been ignoring this whole time - anyone else have a trick from a relative that actually saved them money?

My old man always said to put a sock on the shop vac filter too, works like a charm.
