Fought with my old push mower for 3 summers before I finally swapped the blade for a mulching one instead of bagging
I picked the mulching blade over bagging last spring after watching my grass pile up like a haystack every Saturday, and now I don't even own a bagger anymore so has anyone else had that 'why didn't I do this sooner' moment with a simple swap?

Mulching just feeds the lawn without all that extra cleanup work.

Is mulching really gonna make that much difference for the average lawn though? I see people online losing their minds over it like it's some secret magic trick, but most of the time it just leaves clumps of wet grass everywhere if you don't time it right. Feels like a lot of hype for something that can easily backfire if you miss a week or two of mowing. Plus you still have to bag those clumps sometimes or they kill the grass underneath, so it's not entirely hands off.
